You would need to make sure the dip switches on the Keystep are set to “midi” if you want to go that route.

Indeed, lately I’ve really been loving the large palette of sounds + form factor. I used it twice in live condition with a keystep, and it really was a pleasure both times.
Just sold mine.
Like so many synths aquired in a hurry and flurry of GAS, the DN didnt really offer anything that my current setup cant (push2 and abletons operator synth in this case).
All depending on what floats your boat, it sounds great and is fun to use
