Disable charging for sampling iPhone / iPad via usb

When sampling from my iPhone 15 Pro I’ve noticed that my Field is also taking a charge from the iPhone at the same time which is neat but also annoying as theres no way to disable reverse charging. So I thought I’d try sampling from an old iPad Air instead, which works but I’ve noticed that the iPad is now taking a small charge from the Field. On the iPad screen it says ‘not charging’ but it definitely is as its % charge is going up, albeit slowly.

Is there a way to disable charging on the Field?

there is an option in the menu yes
does it actually disable charging? hmm

Right, it does not disable the charging, TE says “currenly it is inteded only for usb ground loop isolation”

I too hope they give us more control.

You might send a feature request to TE support, more voices may motivate them to look into it, as long it is somewhat feasible to do with present hardware.
