DIY lego knobs

The TE knobs look nice but I needed something sooner than TBD.

But since they have LEGO holes I made these cheesey knobs out of Sugru putty and some old axles I cut down to length. I made a couple of sets experimenting. My fav ended up being just the axles cut short with some color matched model paint and a dot of clear silicone caulk for grip. It’s so much easier to spin them fast now!!

Version 2 and 3 with Sugru putty. The larger white ones are built over old LEGO heads that match the knob color. Not an expert putty modeler so they are not uniform. The black tapered ones worked better, but the plain stubs are still my favorite to use. op2
