Just bought myself a laser disco beamer that’s DMX and wondered if anyone could recommend a good in-between device (usb to box to beamer). xo
Hey, I’m excited for you, I think light control is a very under utilized feature of the OP-Z. The only hardware that works is a Kingston Nucleum USB hub paired with the Enttec DMX USB Pro. You have to give the hub power, I use a tablet charger. The Enttec unit is the most expensive part of the equation, but it is absolutely necessary, none of the other DMX converters will work, I checked. You may have luck with another hub, but the Nucleum is the officially supported one.
