Do you make podcasts with your Op-1?

Just curious!

What is happening here? :joy:

I’ve got an Sm7b going to a cloud lifter and then a Zoom recorder I power with a battery pack. Then I use the monitor out to send the signal to the Op-1.

I’m trying to figure out an easy on the road kit. I might try just running straight to the Op from the mic- but worried about signal noise when pushing the gain on its input so much.

Actually it might be best to skip the zoom cause it’s noisy/gritty even with the cloudlifter.

Might try that XS device from Shure.

Or just embrace the lo-fi and use the OP-1’s mic

Ahaaa exciting stuff. I live from producing podcasts and sound design, and getting my op-1 this Thursday. Thinking alot about how i can incorporate it

This is my podcast studio. I use Ableton Live, so really exited about getting the op-1 in there, although I haven’t heard so much good about using it as a controller. So will probably use it for sound design in the beginning.

And of course also try it out as a standalone podcast studio on-the-go.
