Find it funny that T.E. Claims you can fit 999 samples on the Ep-133? I have successfully fit about 80 samples all together that where not just blips and bloops 2-8 second guys in mono aiff or mp3. EIGHTY, with no extra room to do any sampling internal. Am I missing something? I can’t help thinking about this type of marketing in other Scenarios, your car has a lifetime warranty or 15 miles, whatever comes first. So goofy, and the po-80 selling for $650.00 when you can buy the Gakken for 150…I don’t want to get kicked off the forum or anything and I have well supported TE for a long time. It seems to be getting goofier and goofier. And the OG op-1 taking shits left and right on people. I see you TE, still love a lot of other things about their products, but ya’ll need to chill. Oh buy the way, I am doing a collaboration with Gakken (ordering a gakken for 150 and slapping a sticker on it) and releasing a DJ pocket Dials Record Etcher Extraordinaire its 300 usd if anyone is interested. Some assembly required.

Same here, I think I am just annoyed by multiple things that have went wrong all at the same time, or things not living up to expectations. And the "name your price op-1 were you can’t go less then 1300 or something is a complete joke. like come on shits just goofy. Love/hate relationship and understand they couldn’t care less about some kid in Flint MI. that is a bit frustrated. ,I aint that inspiring, lol. Just things I notice and seeing what others take on it is. Or, again, maybe in the case of my ep133 there is something I am missing. ??
Sorry didn’t look up exact price, but that’s what I thought I seen on their site a bit back. Maybe 450? Doesn’t matter its way more than the Gakken and does nothing different. Same way you can buy ikea speakers for 150 that were like 650 because they were TE or something ridiculous.

A simple google search would solve this for you. The PO 80 was $150 thru TE…any other price was erroneously attributed to them but likely somebody price gouging on Ebay or Reverb. They obviously have nothing to do with that
I can only imagine that the Ikea speaker complaint is you conflating Eneby/Vappeby line of speakers with the OB4s. Either choice is fine but I know people who’ve used both and the quality and features are not the same (TE isn’t upcharging for the same tech).

The EP133 can hold up to 999 samples. I’ve got one and haven’t filled it to that as you would have to have very short samples, all in mono, but I have had over 400 samples.
You must have longish samples with maybe high sample rates. The EP133 when hooked up to the software sample librarian software will show you how much each sample is using.
As for the name your own price, I guess the minimum they’ll want to sell the OP1F for is £1300. I paid over £2k for mine, I wish I’d waited.
Going back to the EP133, have a look at your samples and see if there’s empty space at the start or ends and use a sample editor to trim the silence, convert to mono where you can, and try dropping the samples down to a lower sample rate. I use the excellent, and free, Audacity sample editor.
