Disclaimer: i’m using the TR 6s as an example in this video but this is a technique that can be applied directly to the OPZ, or any sequencer that has velocity:
interesting work !
Thanks for the hint. I already forgot, that the op-z has velocity!
I had to look it up. Hold the note and use pitchbend.
Shame it doesn’t show a value in the app.
Cheers!
I might actually make another video on the same topic specifically for the opz
Oh i didn’t even know you could do that!
But also you can use a trig for the notes that you want to change velocity on.
“Hold the note and use pitchbend”
its new for me too. its probably from a new firmware. i have experimented on a first firmware, long time age, but it didnt work back than. so its great news that its possible now
No idea when it was added, but it is under section 3.4
Great knowledge! Thank you!
The key combo is awful to use. I hope it makes it’s way into the iOS app soon.
i agree, why do they use pitch for velocity?!(you can use velocity step component for that. it would make more sense if you could use pitch bend to change pitch bend of a step. but pitch bend is not sequencable
Perhaps that is why pitchbend can’t be sequenced…?
Still very frustrated by that. I mean it’s not something I would use all the time, but it still would be nice to automate some pitchbend
