Editing samples after finishing the sampling process

I know I can edit a sample (adjust slices etc.) right after I sample. Is there a way to access this edit page afterwards? E.g. to move slices? Or maybe to load a long sample form a computer and have the OP-Z treat it as a new recording (allowing the user to move slice points etc.)?

Cheers,
Lukasz

No…

Too bad. But thanks for answering!

sure you can. just enter sample mode with stop+ record and edit as you like. or am I misunderstanding your question?

Geez! You actually can! Thanks so much for that! For some reason, I was certain one had to make a new slot first… I can’t do all that I wanted to (like e.g. strech one sample automatically over the all keys), but it’s doable manually. You’ve made my day!

i believe it handles loading samples the same way the OP1 does no?
so if u just load a regular .aiff file (ie not an already made kit)
it will auto chop the sample into 16 equal parts for the first 16 keys
then it will chop the sample up again into 8 equal parts for the last 8 keys

I loaded a kit made with the OP-1 Drum Utility. It consisted of 4 longer samples, and it was imported the way it was visible in the utility – as 4 samples. But then I was able to copy them and chop them manually (thanks to the sichtbeton suggestion). I haven’t tried importing a single longer sample yet. Thanks for the heads up!
