EP 133 - Is there a way to assign midi in channels?

Hey everyone, I’m trying to sequence the EP-133 and want to assign separate midi channels to each of the sampler groups A, B, C and D. Is there a way to do this?

I did find a way to do this for midi out, but not midi in.

I have a similar question, I have samples on bank D, and a bass on Bank B that I want to play with external midi but the external midi is triggering multiple banks at the same time

doesnt the midi setting in the sound edit mode
set the midi note and channel for input per pad?

edit : ah after checking it out for myself
i see that is not correct
seems to only set it for output
