This might seem like a trivial question, but does anyone know if you should sample in a specific key, or does it adjust to the global key you have set? If that makes sense. I know with the OP-Z, you should sample in the key of A. Should I sample the instrument in the key of A for the EP-133?

This approach seems logical if I’m recording from EP 133. However, I wonder if their editing tool offers the capability to detect and adjust the root note, or if there’s an option to select it manually. Are my samples required to be in a specific key for alignment, or can the tool automatically detect and adjust them? Is the root note C4 by default? It appears that the manual section you provided does not discuss the use of the sampling tool.
