Hello, all! XY has been surprising me in wonderful ways whenever I’m on it. However, there are many sound design tools that are lacking, while it’s sampling capabilities abound. Does anyone know if TE reads these for firmware update suggestions? Does anyone make custom firmware? I would sacrifice some existing features to replace them with better ones if that’s what it takes. Would love your help.
Casually but that’d be a full time job and they seem to have a small team. Their preferences is having dedicated beta testers from among the community…they are more attentive to bug reports than outright feature requests afaik
Not seen custom firmware for anything except the OG OP1. They have made it more difficult to try on newer machines like OPZ and XY so I doubt it’ll ever be done again

I would gladly replace E Piano and Organ engines for more modern ones like a basic granular sampler and sample-to-wavetable engine.I’d gladly replace Brain with a new set of insert fx not found in the send fx tracks, or with an additional modulation source.

What I want to add to the firmware wish list is the ability for the OP-XY to print money so I can afford the next product from TE.
