Hey everyone. I got a PO-16 and I have to play on Sunday the Happy Birthday song on it. Can you help me please to achieve this goal? Perhaps someone did it before, and can share the notes/pattern.

the notes are
G G A G C B
G G A G D C
G G G(up an octave) E C B A
F F E C D C
I actually ran into something similar when trying to recreate simple melodies on small synths. Happy Birthday is interesting because the melody is simple but the timing matters a lot. What helped me was breaking it into small note groups and practicing the pattern slowly first before increasing the tempo.
Funny thing is I’ve also seen people experiment with birthdays and numbers in different ways like turning dates into patterns or rhythms. It’s interesting how something as simple as a birthday can inspire both musical patterns and other number-based ideas.
