if mine don’t ship before the new year, I’m going to cancel. I don’t need these things at all and it was an impulse buy really, and while I was patient to wait before, the longer this goes on the less enthusiastic I am. Especially when it just feels like Cheap Monday seems to be getting a huge amount of available stock and whatever’s left is shipped to those that ordered direct from TE. How many people from this forum have gotten them from TE vs CM?
The chinese new year starts thursday, btw, not “next week.” Which is really only a day away from US and some EU people due to time zones.
When was this email typed up and why did we only just get it today?
yeah getting less and less excited for these as time goes on. hearing 6-8 weeks repeated for weeks now and seeing people who ordered much later than me is irritating even if they genuinely don’t have any control over it. no doubt a little more transparency would’ve allowed many of the european operators the chance to get them earlier by ordering through collette or cm and if us distributors (like turntablelab) start shipping them before i receive mine i’ll be pretty chuffed.

Patience is something not many people have in 2015. We live in a world that demands instant gratification and breeds entitlement. Sometimes it’s good to take stock of your surroundings, take a breath and realize that there are things out of your control
It’s pretty clear what happened with the POs, they weren’t prepared for the amount of orders, which if really is 40,000…that’s just insane for something like this. TE is not the boogeyman out to get you. "as soon as we have more units ready to be delivered we will confirm your order and let you know about your shipping. all orders will be processed as soon as possible and we look forward to be able to provide you with more specific information. we kindly ask you to remain patient. if you can not wait you are of course entitled to a full refund."
The ONLY people who received instant gratification (in the form of our money) here is TE.
We, the customers, are well beyond any instant experience.
And “entitlement”? Seriously? It’s a simple transaction: you give someone money, they give you the goods. No need to mix this pseudo-ethical analysis with this basic concept.
I think at the very least TE could give order numbers estimated delivery times, and sorry but allowing Cheap Monday stock to sell when there are outstanding orders is bogus. If it is the case that they get them direct from manufacturer then TE should be like “damn we have waiting customers who paid, can you send us your stock?” After all they did partner with them.
@LyingDalai Agree! I’m still waiting on my 12 & 16 from TE. But I was lucky to catch a a sub from CM! This little thing is packs a punch. I’m still amazed about the sound it produces. And I feel it has the same “playfullness” as the OP-1
Man, now I’m REALLY regretting that I didn’t order from Colette, even though it would’ve been around $100 per PO shipped to the States, at least it would be in my hands now, playing with its mommy OP-1
On the brighter side of things, I only ordered the PO-12 from TE, so if another reseller finally gets it in stock, I’ll pick up the remaining two.

I don’t understand how in the shit did they send anything out today? NO ONE here had ONE shipping confirmation? Seems totally fishy considering how many of us are here. Trying to be patient but it’s starting to slowly eat away at me! Thinking that picture was just stringing us along so they avoid more order cancellations.
^ There are only 67 posters in this thread. If they got tens of thousands of orders like we’re guessing, this thread makes up only about .16-.6% of the total orders.
