Has anyone received a PO order shipping notice yet?

You’re at 183,xxx. I doubt you have to wait so many months, it’s a form letter and they will also have people in the 219xxx range to deal with. These things presumably take time to make, test, package and ship.

I certainly won’t get it before Easter, but I don’t care cause they will add a game in the next batch !!

Damn, I had the POs already in my shopping cart at the colette online store, then changed my mind and decided to wait and buy from TE directly. I wanted to support them (and I am hoping for some extra goodies like stickers or flyers).

I’m the sale @uleria although i was in a meeting at work i still couldve ordered from Colette but figured I’d order from TE direct to give them my custom and there was probably also the chance of getting some extra freebies thrown in the parcel.

thank you so much for all the attention regarding the launch of pocket operators! everyone is now back from namm and we are happily working hard to fulfill all orders. we know a lot of you have questions for us, so here are some general questions and answers compiled. sorry for keeping you waiting. thanks!


q: what is the status of my order, when can I expect delivery?

a: first of all thank you very much for your order! everything will be processed in sequence, in a first-come, first-served manner. due to heavy demand, delivery is expected within 2 – 3 months, and hopefully faster. we will get shipments continuously and we will let you know as soon as possible when we can ship your specific order. we can not give any more information at this point so thank you for your patience.


q: i want to add something to my order, can i do that please?

a: we can not add anything to existing orders, but if you place an additional order we will ship them together whenever possible.


q: i need to change my shipping details. can you update my shipping address?

a: sure, if it is a minor change, or misspelling. we are required to send orders to the corresponding address provided at checkout. if you used paypal then please make sure to update your address in your paypal account before placing another order. let us know and we can cancel any faulty order. you will keep your place in the order queue if desired.


q: i can not / do not want to wait, can i get a refund?

a: of course! please send us an email from the same address used for ordering and give us your order id number. we will cancel it and automatically issue your full refund.


q: i ordered but never got the first order confirmation, did my order go through?

a: if you did not get an order number from us, and you see no trace of your order in your banking records, then unfortunately something went wrong and you need to replace your order. we had some trouble with our web store initially so sorry for any inconvenience.


hopefully this will get you some insight into what is happening. please know we are working full time to make sure everyone gets their order as soon as possible! all emails sent to us is ready and replied to. due to heavy demand, email response times are a little slower than usual. please bare with us and thank you for your understanding! we are super excited about the pocket operators and can not wait to get them out to you! again, thank you very much!

well, well, it looks like we not only pressured them into being a bit more forthright with us, looks like a lot of us will still get screwed… i am that 182xxx that has been mentioned, but i still paid 3x what most did for shipping, no answer on that. i have a feeling that the change of address bit is directly aimed at me from my badgering them :smiley: oh well. il see what happens as we get close to our move…

I feel like it’s a kickstarter type of deal for a product that was misadvertised as being in stock at the point of purchase. I can wait but the misleading in stock message pisses me off.”

congrats. im below you so that gives me hope ill hear something today i guess!

i feel it’s probably likely that the earliest orderers will start getting their packages shipped in a timely manner (demonstrated above) and instead of sending a bunch of people emails about when their orders will ship they’re just packing the damn things and shipping them as fast as they can and sending out tracking notices.

i wouldn’t be surprised if such a small firm doesn’t have the experience/know how to deal with 8-40k orders in a matter of hours from a logistical or pr perspective.

i agree that launching a new site/cart on the same day as a high profile product launch was probably not the best idea.

I find it kind’a strange that they didn’t outsource the logistics. They must have seen it coming that this product would sell at least 10k units.


If they had done a deal with a distributor they would have payed around 1€ for handling plus the shippingcost. It’s a no brainer in my world.

But if the must flash the units at their HQ before they ship them out then that’s another story.

If anyone at TE sees this. PM me and I’ll hook you up with a good distributor in sweden :wink: They can also flash units
