Hex Sequencer?!?

Anybody know what the hell this is/was. The vid is 4 years old…

Based on the Github project mentioned in the video description, it dates back to 2011. It is based on an open framework by the same author:

I think it was supposed to easy the implemention of applications that interface to the OP-1 thru MIDI, i.e, turning knobs on the OP-1 would reflect on the app display, and the app would request the OP-1 to play notes, etc. It seems like the project was abandoned on its infancy.

Looks like wishful thinking/suggestion for TE to me. I get the feeling that this might be considered "too involved" for the OP-1's user interface philosophy. Finally I'm not sure the screen resolution on our little grey friend would be up to the level of graphics this requires. Just my 2 cents ...

After a few clicks around the www, I came to the same conclusion fellas. Oh well

Very interesting idea though. You could just put our phone next to, or even on top of, the OP-1 screen and create a similar experience for new sequencers and LFOs.

Looks very interesting.
Hope TE will release some SDK for custom synth and sequencer to the public.

I’d be all over that! Alas, I don’t see it happening…
