My PO-35 sustained some water damage and mic stopped working, i just getting “wait” on the screen when trying to record. Line-in works fine tho, but I want to be able to use integrated mic.So I found the mic: WM 7121, I suppose I can use soldering hot air gun to desolder broken one and solder new one.Is it that easy or there is some unexpected things that I have to know?
honestly even smd soldering isnt that hard. There are TONS of good youtube channels to watch. I suggest getting some other smd component that you dont care about and practice soldering on it first to get practice
But it’s not SMD, it’s BGA
