How long can continuous sound be recorded by op -1f?

Hi,
I owned the op1 very briefly and did not actually check if it were possible to record external audio to tape for longer periods than op1 can sample?

Can someone enlighten me as to if/not this is possible?

u can record to the tape the entire duration of the tape
u can slow the tape down to get even longer times

I think it’s 24 minutes at the slowest speed 1:4.

yep the absolute longest contiguous recording on the field is 24 min

So, the recording quality also goes down then? Or does it stay the same (in the ballpark)? When u record to slowed down tape

it gets worse, definitely. it becomes very lo-fi.
