How to "re-trigger" a long arp on OP-Z so it doesn't continue to go out of sync?

I have found that when I use the ARP track on the OP-Z, I use the first step to hold down 3 or 4 keys, I extend the range a bit, and I select one of the different patterns for it, but by the time it comes to loop again, it doesn’t “re-trigger” and start from the beginning which causes it to get further and further out of sync as time progresses; does anyone have a fix for this?

I’ve already tried holding down the first step and change the step length to be one step shorter than the max, but then that leaves empty space and the arp abruptly stops. I’ve also tried extending the track length of the arp and shortening the step length there to the same result, only a bit later!
