How to save and rename a sample on OP-1? Ithought each sample recorded would create a snapshot but it does not seem to the the case..?

on the op1 original, saving happens by pressing and holding any of the slot buttons 1-8 for 5 seconds. this creates a file named after the current datetime stamp inside a folder called “snapshots”. renaming happens only on the computer, not on the device.
on the op1f, this process is exactly the same except when you hover over the newly saved file, there is a little option to rename using the encoders.
