I have been trying to record my op-1 field (separate stereo tracks) into garageband & cubasis on the iphone, as well as Logic on the Mac, over usb. With midi set to “in” (or “both”) on “clock” and “other” on the op-1, I just can’t get the recording to sync up to the tempo on the mac/iphone - same for all apps. Of course, the tempo is set the same on both.
I press record on the iphone/mac, it counts in and the op-1 starts playing, as expected. However the recording seems to cut off the initial note and then the rest of the recording is out of sync.
I could get it synced dead-on before, which is why I’m wondering if this is a new issue since all the midi updates in 1.7.0. Anyone else experiencing this?
Update: additionally, no matter what options I select, pressing record on the mac/iphone will kick the op-1 back to the start of the tape, presumably due to the new song position stuff? Have tried both tape and loop-in options.
