A friend lent me his op1f, and I love this thing, and it made me curious if there were any other multitrackers that let you overdub like the tracks on the op1.
I checked ableton and studio one, turns out you “can” in studio one, but you can’t hear what you are recording over, which kind of defeats the purpose imo.
in ableton it can be done with the looper, but then there is no way to navigate to any point in the loop.
I might be forced to create a Max device or some native app for mac or ipad that has this functionality.

p.s. I will be buying one of these. Bought the KO2 yesterday becuase I am loving the drum sampler soooo much!
