ITER and FILTER

Sorry for the ignorance. I’ve been away from the OP1 communit for a while. It seems there is some ‘back door’ content to be accessed?

Can’t someone please explain what Iter and Filter are and how to get them?

Many thanks you lovely lot!

There’s this discussion, focused on Iter. There’s a link in the comments to a Patch from op1.fun. Install that patch, and you get both. Although I think the only way to use Filter as an effect is to start with a patch with it on there.

There is also some discussion on this thread. A comment towards the end has an ‘iter_filter.zip’ attachment that is what I installed, as it also gives you a drum patch with ‘filter’ enabled.

Mate the filter sounds really good! Is there any way of getting it on drum?

Oh shit mate just read the last bit of your post. Awesome!

My entry to ‘battle51’ is basically playing with Iter at its extremes.

I still have no real idea what’s going on - the UI for Iter really seems like a placeholder. But it can be cranked into some really out-there sounds.

Mate what the fuck?!!! This is my favourite synth engine and effect! How did this not make the firmware?

You can get some really ambient Brian Eno type of stuff going on. Beautiful harmonics

@lescour1 this might help explain what the synth engine does, too!
