Firstly I would just like to make it clear that I am a total noob to electronic music production, having only purchased my OP-1 in May… so apologies if this is a dumb question! I searched through the other help categories just to ensure I wasn’t duplicating any other queries with this one;
I seem to experience clipping when the kick drum sounds during powerful, bass heavy/low end synth/samples. It’s less noticeable when the drive is turned down, but still present. It’s only a minor irritation as I am having way too much fun with this awesome machine, just curious to see if anyone has had any similar experiences. Thanks - Tom
Is this during recording ? -> on the Tape page, turn down the red knob
But you may try first to lower a bit the volume of the sampled kick (shift+red knob when you see the kick waveform)
Also check the drums envelope and make sure it’s not above the zero level.
