Long or chopped sample chord polyphony?

Recorded a long sample into the KO, chopped it and then tried to set one of the pads to Key and then tapped Keys to play it polyphonically as a chord, but it only plays one note at a time. I’m assuming this is the memory/voice issue but if I’m not playing any other voice, what’s going on?

When you chop a sample, it automatically puts the chopped parts in a mute group so they interrupt each other. When a pad is in a mute group, it effectively becomes monophonic.

To undo it:

  1. Open Sound Edit mode (Shift + Sound)
  2. Press + until the screen reads GRP
  3. Press the pad(s) in question. The LEDs above them should start flashing, indicating the pad isn’t part of the mute group.
