Master FX Send

The most typical problem for my ambient tracks: I want to have strong and long reverb on most instruments, except the drum or noise track. It was cute to find clever workarounds on the underpowered OP-1, but Field should have an FX send parameter for each track and the audio input. It’s kind of absurd that it doesn’t.

Not only would this make many tracks much, much easier to make, it would make external devices much more useful. For example, in my case it would allow to use OP-1 or PO-12 as drum machines without losing reverb on melodic tracks.

I’d like that too. The ability to send some of one track to a reverb whilst not sending any of another one seems like a no-brainer

I always assumed fx send would eventually come in an update - although in true tape fashion I use the out-in for this. Also would love to be able to apply fx directly to the mic input

Fx via mic input is possible with the vocoder engine!

Ah of course thank you!

Can we organize an email storm on their suggested features form with all of our needs for the op1 field, i personally want more straight forward effects like chorus, flanger , harmonizer , granular delay… small fades in and out of the tracks snd sections, and honestly ur fx send is amazing , they really didnt rework much of the software tbh, upgraded the quality of the device and stereo sound but not really improved much , they gave us like 3 bones (mother , terminal vocoder ) and left

Good idea. I’m hoping, as I’m sure many are, that they’re working on an update. But who knows. One of the updates was odd to me. That was the 999 step update to the endless sequencer. Who the hell needs that?

I’m sure someone will now go on YouTube and make a 999 step endless sequence, but for 99.9% of users, I’m sure memories for Endless, and the other sequencers such as Pattern, would be more useful.

Right now they seem to be working hard on bug fixes for OP-XY, which I love more than OP1F right now.

They really need to up their game I feel, as at least one other company (Sonicware) is offering great products with, IMHO, more features. I’m tempted by the ELZ-1 Play which looks like it offers a lot of similar workflow to the OP1F, for about 1/3rd of the price.

I purchased the Sonicware LoFi 12XT last year and love it. The ability to have a different insert effect on each of the 8 tracks, plus a global delay AND reverb effect (so 10 different effects at once in total), it’s 3 hour background mixtape option and SD card slot makes the OP1 Field’s one effect over all 4 tape tracks seem lame.

I love my OP-XY and for me it’s a keeper, but my OP1F is looking more and more likely to go.
