May OP-1 decksaver contribute to the Key-Trigger problem, due to pressure?

Hey, title says it all. What do you think? Just a random thought I had.

We could disprove if you had the problem without having a decksaver

In my case it started short after I got the decksaver, in my case OG OP1, but likely has nothing to do with it…

I thought maybe through a little to much and constant pressure on the Aluminium frame.

Did you experience something similar?

Fab

Perhaps explain what problem your OP-1 has? I only know of common key trigger problems with OP-Z, not OP-1, personally.

i put an decksaver on my og op1 for well over a year by now, no issues with the keys. i dont think the aluminum would have any issue with the decksaver.

Ah, Of course: On the OG OP1 it was a common problem with the keys, which happened to several units, where one or more of the keys suddenly startet to double-trigger the sound, or got more and more unresponsive and playing notes randomly serveral times after another. The real reason to this phenomenon remained unknown, many assumtions, mostly without success, which resulted in buying a replacement Keyboard overlay.

Ahh ok, I got my OP-1 brand new just a month or two before the Field launch, which was annoying and I upgraded. The decks saved hasn’t pushed against the keys that I can see.

Hey, that’s good to now :slightly_smiling_face:
I was curious as the key problem happened to me right after using the decksaver on the go. Maybe it was a silly idea of me to assume it might be related to it‘s pressure, but thought it might be worth to check for it. now we can at least see that it’s obviously not related:smiling_face::smiling_face::sweat_smile:.
