Meeblip Cubit Duo USB midi interface - will it work with OP-1?

Meeblip announced the Cubit Duo, which it advertises as a “USB MIDI Interface and MIDI thru”.

I know the Kenton USB Midi host is commonly recommended to sync the OP-1 to other MIDI devices. Will something like this work the same way?

is it a HOST?
if not then no it will not work
if yes then it most likely will.

there needs to be a HOST involved or the devices do not know how to communicate with each other
this is for ALL usb midi devices not just OP1

They have 50 in stock, my guess is that they will be all gone this week after this write up
