microGranny fidelity for air recording PO-32 patches?

Does the Bastl microGranny have good enough 8-bit fidelity to faithfully record PO-32 backups and restore them over the air?

I doubt it, but you could try.

Not sure if you’re still interested, but I tried. Upshot: it works fine if you wire them together.

µG has a good mic, so in theory using that could work to make a backup… but with the flat surfaces it’s hard to get a clean recording from the PO-32 that way. I made a half-hearted attempt and didn’t even try to restore once I heard what that sounded like. The acoustics are just awful since the mic is in the middle of the unit.
