MIDI slave, how do I arm tape record to start recording on MIDI start message?

Hi there

I have my OP-1 sync’d to my cirklon as master and it works fine!

However I cant get the tape to start to record when i hit play on the cirklon.

I arm (shift record) the tape so its red. But as soon as I hit play the tape goes green and starts to play, not record.

Any ideas anyone?

groan - just realised i am running OS 242 not 243 - and it a brand new op-1.
