As we all know OP1 has a very limited hard disk space. I had this one idea where I unite different shorter samples (synth sampler) in one patch. I recognized that sometimes I don’t need samples that take up the whole 6 seconds. When I set the looping points right (if the nature of the sample allows it) one preset can include two or three sounds with ease.
I use this technique to gather similar sounds (like pianos). The downside is that you have to readjust the sample when you want another sound from the patch which is not as convenient as changing presets.
