Multi Sample

Hey, I have got an OP-1 at a decent price. I have a couple of question:

  1. When sampling from instrument I don’t get the option to sample from keyboard, the option is not showing. If I do so on drums, shift + Sample and I get the option. Any idea why, what I am doing wrong?
  2. When sampling, I just sample whichever note I sample but the sample does not spread out to the rest of the keyboard on the OP-1, as I see in a lot of videos, where it immediately spread to each note on the keyboard. Again, am I doing something wrong, is there a way to do it?

  1. i think u gotta select synth sampler not one of hte many synth engines
  2. kinda related. drum sampler is different than synth sampler.. synth sampler will spread the one sound chromatically across the keyboard whereas drum sampler will slice your long sample into different slices.
