Tomorrow I am finally getting an OP-1!
When I get my op1 what should I do before I use it? (full charge, update, or just play it)
and is there anything I need to know that will help to look after the op1?
When you boot it, the OS version will be at the bottom of the screen. If for some reason it’s not 14203, update it. You—we—may get to update the OS very soon anyways, if the rumor-birdie in a another thread is right about a major new update soon.
Besides that, a daily hug and playtime is all it needs.

Keep in mind that there is a limit of kit/patches so choose wisely.

Totally agreed.
I have TE soft case (~80€) and it’s really the best IMO : light yet solid, resistant, I’ve been bringing my OP-1 with me every weekend for one year and it had not a scratch 
i carry my Op1 in a Gun case so that when the time comes i can BLOW THEM AWAY!!!

@contraben I also made a custom wooden stand for the OP-1 (other members did this too), it’s really funny to make. I’m gonna post pictures in another thread soon
