New to OP-1F, need advice please

Hi there, being new to the OP-world I’ve stumbled over something I can’t solve by myself.
I am able to connect the OP-1 F to my Macbook via TE’s FieldKit and I see the drum, mixdown, synth and tapes folder. In synth for example there is a folder called “user”. I am not able to copy anything into it, it shows the file for a second and then it’s gone. Also creating a folder (as it says: You may create folders here) is not possible - it ends with an error message: Unknown Error (error - 36).
Maybe I am trying it the wrong way… anyone knows how to do this?
Greetings from Berlin, Uli

Have you loaded samples to it in the past? You might have hit the sample limit. I ran into this before and it doesn’t make it clear to you what the problem is when it fails to load samples into it. I believe the limit is 500

Thanks for getting back, no I got the OP-1F only today. I’ve sampled just one short sound for testing from my Mac via USB. It says on the Mac when connected via FieldKit something like 5,39 GB free (used 1,04 GB). Updated the firmware to 1.5.0 today.

The samples need to be in aif format.

That’s interesting as it says in the readme file:
“this folder accepts mono/stereo .aif/.aiff/.aifc/.wav files.
the OP-1 sample rate is 44100 Hz.”

I’ve tried a 44,1/wav file.
I’ll do a test with an aif.file.

Let you know, thanks

Solved, thanks a lot!
Converted to aiff.format.
So the readme needs to be corrected!
