Nomad speaker for the OP-1

I have considered all your comments, emerged the Bose Soundlink Mini II and the Ultimate Ears Boom.

Finally my choice remained on the UE Boom because it is life proof (and a bit cheaper), sound quality
is still highly rated, even if the bass is not as powerful as the bose one…

Thanks for all your feedbacks and advices, I’m waiting for the Boom to give you some feedbacks if you want

@Dirtybuzz I noticed you typed ‘had’. Any reason why you got rid of it?

have* aha typo !

Old thread, but as far as portable speakers go you really can’t do better than a Minirig. I’ve had one a lot longer than my OP-1 and it’s fantastic, beats everything else out there on sound and they’re chain-able for multi rig link-ups. There’s a sub now too, and if you link up more than one they automatically go into L/R stereo.

Last summer mine started crackling, I contacted Minirigs and even though it was well out of warranty they offered to fix it for a £20 labour charge. When I got it back, they’d replaced everything - basically put my old outer casing on a new Minirig (I only know 'cos it had a Modeselektor sticker on it). Fantastic service where most companies would probably have just milked a new sale out of the situation.
