I’m amazed at how few samples I’m able to store on the OP-1 after the factory ones.
It’s not heavily documented / exposed, but there is a file number limit of samples. There’s a sampler limit of 42, and I counted 42 in screen shot.
I had a bunch of samples loaded in from some OP-1-targeted collections of samples from other synths (wish I could remember the site now) and for the next year I was driven crazy because I could not save some custom-recorded samples and just got a nebulous error message before finally discovering that sample count limit. I saved a local note to remember:
<p style=“margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal; font-family: “Helvetica Neue”; color: rgb(69, 69, 69);”>Max Synth Sampler patches = 42
Max Synth Synthesis patches = 100
Max Drum Patches = 42
Bye bye OP-1 see you on Ebay. No wonder they keep that quiet!
Personally I like it. Keeps things fresh. You’d be better selling here, save on fees…
Just load them on to any storage device ie a computer/flash. and keep em rotating
