OG OP-1 Audio over USB in Logic Pro

I’m stumped. I’ve updated my OG OP-1 to firmware 246. I’m trying to record the OP-1 audio directly into an audio track in Logic Pro. Whenever I setup an audio track in Logic Pro and play the OP-1, I get the audio from the OP-1 for roughly 3 seconds before it turns to digital noise and crackles.

Settings info:

I’m running Mac OSX 10.15.7 and Logic Pro 10.6.2

  • Mac audio input is set to OP-1

  • Mac audio output is set to the built-in output

  • In Audio MIDI setup, output is set to built-in output and input is set to OP-1

  • In Logic, the output device is set to built-in output and the input device is set to OP-1.

  • The I/O buffer is set to 128

  • midi input is set to OP-1 Device.

Any ideas are appreciated!

this may not solve your problem
but u dont need to set the op1 as the input in your mac settings
just set it in logic and it should be fine

maybe double setting it is creating some kind of weird thing
that is causing it to wig out and / or crash?

Good suggestion. Thank you! The problem still persists :slightly_frowning_face:

Edit: it was a faulty USB cable. Solved.
