When I use MIDI mode shift+com via usb, it seems to be not possible to change octave. Instead, in CTRL mode, it works. Is that a bug? If I exit from midi mode and change octave then it come back again to the previous octave (C3)
any experience?

tbh w/ u
i think MIDI mode is just for changing the MIDI settings
if u want to use the op1 as a controller then CTRL mode is what u want
the verbage in the manual seems to back this notion up as well
alternatively, the op1 sends MIDI out during normal operation so u dont necessarily need CTRL mode either.
hello thank you for your feedback. OP1 can also receive midi “in” so that you can use it as controller but you can also capture the external sounds in the tape. I’m actually doing it, but with only 1 fixed octave. I just wrote to TE support, then I saw the new firmware is available 1.4.5, I will check again.
regards!
