OP-1 field counter: Mac app to track the number of patches installed

I’ve made this little script to keep track of the number of patches installed on my OP-1 field, and I though it might be useful to others. Enjoy!

Thank you! It’s exactly what I’ve needed! Kudos!

My pleasure! I’m glad you folks are finding it useful… and hopefully TE makes it redundant with a future update so we don’t need hacks to keep track of our patch limits.

Worked like a charm, thanks!

I just ran into an issue with not enough storage space so I wanted to quickly count the patches I have. And I have 255 patches available, so it seems like I’ve run out of actual storage space, does that seem right? Kinda weird but I guess most of my saved patches are samples

You should be able to see the actual free space from field kit. What is it showing?

Ah thanks for this! I honestly never knew the little field kit icon was up there lol

It says 3.49gb free, hmm maybe it’s just a fault of one of the patches I was trying to upload or something

That could be. Or maybe you found a bug to my script and you’ve actually hit the 500 patch limit but the script is miscounting.

It’d be a pain but maybe you want to count your patches by hand (I know I know) and check what’s going on?

I was able to add more no problem on my MacBook, so either it is a bug with adding patches via the iPad (non-mtp) or it was a bug with one of the patches.

Nice, glad that you sorted it out👌

Really helpful, works perfectly, and straightforward; thanks for sharing this!
