Hey everyone, I would like to record the OP-1 sounds directly to my laptop ( mac ) without having to go through the “usb process”. My problem is that i’m a “new musician” and i don’t have any idea about which interfaces do i need to connect the OP-1 into my computer. Also there is a lag of information out there or i’m bad for researching either ways, can somebody give me some interfaces that works ? not more than 200. Please ! thank you !
So not “from” but “to” your laptop? One alternative within your budget would be the Focusrite Scarlett series.
Yeap thanks, already modified “to” my laptop, and i have seen many of focusrite solutions but that’s why i want to know from you, the people that already have one interface. It`s because i dont even know what kind of the cables i have to buy. I dont want to spend 20 bucks in cables that i dont even know if they are gonna work you know and worst buy an interface that same thing i dont know that its going to work with.
Which interface do you use? What kind of connection jack 3,5 to xlr, jack to analog etc ?
You will need one of these
You will connect the 1/8 stereo from the op-1 and the two 1/4" mono’s into the audio interface. Then the interface will carry the signal via USB to the mac.

I’ve got a native instruments Komplete Audio 6. Its been solid and pretty cheap these days. I like interfaces with at least 4 outs so two can go to your speakers and two can go out of the computer, into the op-1 for FX and back into the computer .
