OP-1 on the rails

I did a little cross country train trip a few weeks ago and brought along the OP-1 (bought just this past February) as my new timey folk instrument, of sorts. The intent: write and record a couple of tracks while on the train.

I'm not ecstatic with the results but it was fun to have along, especially as I used it in a tabletop noise jam with some Chicago experimental/noise musicians (and then sampled some of what we were doing, using that sample to make the second track). I learned a few new tricks on that trip, particularly revolving around using the gravity modulation source and some of the madness hidden in the delay effect. I also had fun using the FM Radio while on the train, and used some static in West Virginia on the first track.
