Well, beta tester friends, as long as you didnāt sign any non disclosure agreement, Iām afraid the top secret thing is no more than TE playing a little bit with us (hi there!). I think itās really not fair that youāre carrying such a heavy weight all by yourself. You know the community is here to help you with that, friends. Let it go. Itās gonna be alright. Donāt hurt yourself anymore.

PSA for everyone planning to bring their OP-1: According to the MusikMesse web site you are not allowed to bring any instruments to the fairgrounds. I wonder if TE has found a way around this restriction or of theyāll upgrade peopleās OP-1 in some dark corner on the parking lot. I guess Iāll just wait for the public release thenā¦ bummer.Tobias got back to me and says thanks for the heads up! I guess just keep your OPās tucked. Also I used to beta test, Iāve always been respectful and never shared anything, but Iād keep the beta testing to myself fam, donāt want to loose those privledges.

i LOVE how we are dealing with this. this thread got created early 2015 (and i think there was an even older one) and from what i can tell no one had a fit and expressed weird ideas of entitlement . there is another forum out there I frequently visit which is not quite like it +)

Itās worth waiting for guys. Once we get a final release date or the early green light Iāll make a new video. The beta process is vital. When the Beta users do these, we report on unexpected side effects or crashes from the changes (rare) in an effort to polish what becomes the final version. While my lips are tightly sealed it is a pleasure to get an early view but also challenging as the final version may change, add or remove things in each version. This is really the root of the reason why nothing can be said. What I can say is that in every case the TE team hear you, they work to add what they can, and will only include anything if it can be done properly. It is rare to have a device keep getting better almost 4 years after release! I can safely say this release is an improvement to an already amazing musical tool. #fullsupportfromhere

Iām about to buy Analog Rytm OR Analog Keys & have a hard time decidingā¦ I know you arenāt allowed to say anything specific, but maybe you can just give me a little hint to help me with this choice I hoped to integrate Keys with OP1 as a drum machine, but no quantization / decent sequencer means itās not really going to work for me. Thatās why I started to lean towards the Rytm. But If the update solved the problem of more advanced sequencing (e.g. editable sequences, not just recorded on tape) or quantization, Iād probably go for Elektron Keysā¦ soooā¦ can you advice me anything without going too much into detail?
