Just saw on Instagram cuckoo was at TE talking to them about the coming update. Hopefully @cuckoo you might be able to tell us what's up (or maybe a video if we could be so lucky) or that we will hear something from te. Either way, I'm excited!!
I recorded an informal video about the forthcoming update. Also introducing, in the video, Teenage Engineering's only TEENAGER EMPLOYEE!! It's up for review, so once everyone involved have had a say, I'll pull the switch and make it live for everyone. Not sure if they will review it during the weekend, but I'm hoping next week.

Hey all. I recorded two videos. One on the OP-Z (which TE decided not to publish) and one video where two TE employees present the new OP-1 update, which I guess is scheduled to release some point closer to release. Which should be soon, if all goes well.
From those reports from that guy that spotted the new OS at a demo show it seems like we probably already got most of the significant new features in the leaked beta? be cool to see the finished graphics and bugs squashed etc tho.

Maybe weāll see these in the update after the one coming up. I remember being pretty impressed with the other synth and the filter/drive. Be a shame if they never materialise in an official OS.
A new delay with evil space invader style graphic (plus sounding a bit more like a space echo) would be nice. And a filter with a funky phaser combo would be Christmas for me

If the Arp is not in the new OS it would need a major new feature to get me to abandon the Beta. Apart from the new presets this is the only thing I would not want to loose

beta has me plenty content. normally they would be tight lipped this whole time and we would still be in the dark. Leaked OS and continued support of an aging beast.
i have to say, if there ever will be an OP2, it would be great if all OP1 users could just āupdateā the DSP-board themselves (which of course will be compatible with the actual board. so the OP1 UI would stay the same and the new DSP board will have 100x the power). that would be swell! hmm, maybe off-topic
And a dedicated EQ for synth/drum mode
