OP-1 update: multitrack recording in logic? start/stop messages?

Hi everyone!

yesterday I tried to use the audio over usb feature (that came with the most recent firmware update) with logic pro.

I connected via usb cable, selected op-1 as audio interface in settings, created an audio track and I was able to record audio over usb. Now I have 2 questions:

  1. is it possible to record the 4 tracks from op-1 separately? so multitrack recording? that would be great! If so, how do I do this?
  2. ideally, when I hit record in logic, the op-1 would start playing and be synced to the logic clock (or the way around is also fine). How to do this? I set midi sync in the project settings of logic to op-1 (and clock), but nothing happens. am I missing something or is this not possible?

is it possible to record the 4 tracks

You can extract aif files from tape tracks using disk mode.

thanks, that is an easy solution for the multitrack (although it involves some dragging, but thats fine). what about the sync option?

Do you have sync set on your OP-1 (metronome button)?
