have you tried “focus” mode where you can apply locks to individual drum hits per individual drum lane?

I didn’t find the updated PDF manual on the teenage engineering site, but I got an email from SynthDawg saying they had released their updated manual with the 1.2 changes.

Great update ! Drumsynth is very easy and fun to use.
In general I find it a major flaw with OP-XY: param locks are applied on the whole step affecting all notes assigned to it and there’s no way to param lock/edit notes individually.

Heard somebody say that you can focus on individual notes on a step (hold not and tap rec…note leds turn white)
Is there a way to plock from that page?
unfortunately no, i thought it has been fixed after the button swap but parameter locks will apply to all the steps and substeps on that physical seq button.
if focus mode would allow that it could do cool stuff to individual hits on one track and I don’t think it would be too intensive on the cpu.
I like that it’s a special drum synthesizer and really flexible, I don’t like that the graphics don’t change (for instance to see a varied hi-hat graphic to know what’s going on if it sounds like a cymbal or high hat etc…

I did and have to mention all of that above happened right after 1.20 and the crazy envelope crunch happened after installing DC and mixing that with 3 drumline tracks, iam super familiar with the interface and quirks so all of this comes in at a new disrupting attitude that’ll break actual things on the Unit, iam sorry to say that but it needs a few of us to pinpoint such things…
