OP-XY and ipad

Dear community,

I know this must have been discussed before, but I’m at my wits’ end: I’m trying to connect my OP-XY to my iPad Mini running AUM. I want to use headphones, but only a single USB‑C cable, no hub, so plugging it into the OP-XY is the obvious choice. With my OP-Z this was really easy, you could turn off monitoring so there was no feedback. With the OP-XY I’m getting terrible feedback. I’ve searched everywhere already, Google is failing me, YouTube is failing me, AI only gives me wrong information.

Is there anywhere a description of a working method? It just can’t be that this doesn’t work. I managed to get it working quite well with a hub, but unfortunately that isn’t very stable. OP-XY with an iPad mini and AUM with all those fantastic synths and effects would be a killer combo. Please help me!

you should use the “audio in” track, and select the usb as input, and check that no track is enabled in the sends.

make sure that your usb is the settings is not set to send audio over usb… i don’t remember if there’s a setting but that’s the only way u could get feedback.
