I’m trying to send audio from my OP-XY to my Akai MPC Sample via USB. I’ve connected the OP-XY to the MPC using a USB cable, but I’m not getting any audio through.
I know the MPC can receive audio over USB, as I’ve successfully sent audio to it from both my phone and laptop. The OP-XY works fine via its audio output, but I’d really like to use USB audio to minimise the number of cables I need to carry.
Has anyone managed to get USB audio working from the OP-XY to an Akai MPC?
I don’t own a MPC but, my 1010music Bento can’t receive or send audio to OP-XY because it’s not a certain usb class compliant as TE’s field line. Thats frrom what I’m understanding at least, but it also maybe on the developer firmware thing too. As of now the Bento can only receive from a Host computer/tablet/phone/DAW situation. I think thats standard of most gear if supports USB over audio at all.
