OP-XY connects to Photos on Mac, but not Finder

I connect the OP-XY to my Mac (13.4) and the OP-XY shows up in Photos (with an error that it cannot import 36 items). I turn off the toggle “Open Photos for this device”, close Photos, reset Mac and Op-XY, try again, nothing happens. If I open Photos, there’s the OP-XY (with the toggle still turned off) and it continues not to show up in Finder.

Is there a way to force it to show up in Finder so I can copy samples over?

Additional information: OP-XY 10.0.15, updated with MIDI using same Mac and same USB-C cord. OP-XY shows up as a drive in Finder when in te boot.

Are you using TE’s Field Kit?

For file transfer other than updates, the synth uses MTP, a protocol not supported by the macOS Finder.
