OP-XY routing issue: Multi-Out + External Mic Input simultaneously

Hi there,

I’m working on my live setup with an Op-Xy and couldn’t find a solution for this issue yet.

I’d like to route Instruments 3-5 (Bass) to the Multiout only (not the MainOut). At the same time I’m using the external Input with a Microphone to add effects with the Op-Xy and send that signal to the Main Out. Both things work individually but not together. It works for the multi-out only when the line-in icon on page 1 of Aux Track 5 is disabled (greyed out).
When it’s enabled so I can hear the line input, the signals routed to the multi-out also seem to be sent to the main output for some reason. Maybe I overlook something here?

there sadly is no multi out . BIG limitation. and very basic feature. it is available on op1. not sure why not on here. i think (because the price) we expect this device to be an actual professional instrument but it is really just an expensive toy :teddy_bear:. BUT WE ALL BOUGHT IT! it has brought me joy, just not money

Problem solved. Apparently the issue only happens with certain cables, even though they seem to work fine with other devices. Strange, but I switched them and I’m happy it’s working now :slightly_smiling_face:

Interesting, I think I’ll try this later sounds like something I’d like to achieve, wanna see what kind of cable works and what doesn’t…

So, are you using a stereo (TRS) 8th inch, or mono then? Or are there adapters involved as well…

I’m using 3.5 mm stereo (trs) mini jack to 2x 6.35 mm mono (ts) jack cables to plug it into my mixer, no adapters involved. Works fine with some of my cables:) With mono mini jacks the issue seems to be there every time.
