Hi, all. Does anyone know if the OP-Z can be made to swing 8th notes? I can get it to play 8th notes, but the swing wheel doesn’t affect them when it does.
As far as I know the swing wheel does only affect 16th notes.
How about using the nudge function? For instance: place 8 8th on a 4/4 track and nudge each second note a few micro steps (e.g. 10-12) backwards according to taste until you get the desired swing feel?
To nudge: [Hold the step] and [press plus] (nudge forwards) or [press minus] (nudge backwards). Note the visual feedback on the track.

Depending on your metric needs, another option is to use multiples of 12 steps in a track and to place the notes on steps 1,3,4,6,7,9,10 and12, etc. The idea is to divide quarter notes into three steps (triplets). The main pulse (e.g. occupied by a bass drum) would be on steps 1, 4, 7, 10, etc.
