I would love some ideas around approaching the following goal. I’m fairly new to this, so pardon me if it’s obvious.
What I’m trying to figure out is the following…
Using my Eurorack Maths module, I have a slowly rising LFO/envelope that controls cutoff frequency on one of my Mother 32’s. Maths has an end of rise trigger. I want this trigger to start a Pattern on my Op-Z.
I don’t have the OPLAB but do have Ableton 10 with CV tools. It’s all connected nicely through my iConnect MIDI4+ finally, so I can easily send MIDI to and from my Op-Z to DAW and the rest of my gear. I have a MOTU, which is D/C coupled, so I can patch from MATHS to MOTU and hence send CV to Ableton and the Op-Z.
I suppose I don’t have enough experience with CV Tools and what it allows. Any thoughts on routing and doing this?
Also, would love to hear people’s experience with the Op-Z and CV tools in general!
